Our Focus:
There is a particular focus on supporting young people during the transition from school to employment. A positive experience at this crucial time can permanently sway a young persons view of employment and their ongoing work ethic. Wairarapa STARS Trust has a desire to ensure all parties in the employment process share a positive experience. Provision of quality support for clients, employers and work colleagues goes a long way toward this goal.

STARS Trust has been in existence since December 2000. We were formed by members of our community who had identified the need for a service that stood alone, and that was aimed at working for our clients to ensure that their goals and dreams were acknowledged, and (where possible) achieved.

We pride ourselves on our absolute commitment to person-centred planning. It is this individualised approach that ensures that our clients are included in all aspects of planning and that our service is all-encompassing.
